Table Ministry Coordinator at Crosslake Lutheran

We have exciting news as God keeps calling us to focus on Table Ministry!  Anonymous donors have stepped forward to fund the first year of a Table Ministry Coordinator! 

Is God calling you or someone you know from our congregation to consider this pilot position at Crosslake Lutheran?!  (This role could be filled by 1 or 2 people)
Abundance abounds and now . . .  the ask starts with us for one or two people from our congregation to consider this position of Table Ministry Coordinator!

Are you someone who feels an inner prompting to host, coordinate, and foster community through shared meals, events with food, or simply creative hospitality? Do you like to create an environment for relational gathering, emphasizing connection, grace, nourishment and belonging in Christ for our congregation and for people in our community?  

As directed by the Council, the Table Ministry Steering Committee has developed a basic job description for this pilot position.  Please read through this description.  As you do, maybe it’s intriguing to you.  Or maybe someone else in our congregation comes to mind.  Or maybe it’s 2 people that could do a job share.  The desire is that this person or people will be found within our congregation.

Please consider contacting Pr. Kristin or Debbie Patrick, chair of the Table Ministry Steering Committee if you have an interest, so we can talk more to you about the Table Ministry Coordinator position. 

We are asking all congregation members to think about who might be a good fit in this role and tell them!  Ask them to consider this position, and why you think he or she would be effective.  If you can’t think of anyone, we invite you to pray through the directory and see who might come to your heart and mind to ask them to consider this position.

We know the Lord will provide!  Remember, God equips the called.  And as a congregation, we need to help identify whom it might be in our congregation that God is calling to this position.  Please pray, and talk to others, and the Holy Spirit will lead us to find our Coordinator(s) of Table Ministry.
