Crosslake Lutheran Youth

Middle Level (7-8^th grades) & High School (9-12^th grades) Youth Groups Meet every Wednesday, mid-September to mid-May.

Our Youth Director, Pat Netko, (grades 7-12) is in charge of Wednesday night activities.  The Middle Level (7-8th grades) are picked up at school in the church van or ride the bus to the church.  There is a snack/wind-down time from 3:45-4:00 pm.  Youth Group and Confirmation Classes are held from 4:00-6:00 pm.  The confirmation youth are in the “Longer & Later Confirmation Program” and are confirmed in 11th grade.  High School Youth (9-12th grades) join us at 6:00 pm for a family style meal cooked by parents.  The Middle Level is finished at 6:30 pm.  High School Youth Group starts at 6:45 pm and usually ends by 8:00 pm.  We do a variety of service projects, Dinner Theatres, fruit fundraisers, etc. throughout the year.

We take annual trips to Spirit Mountain and

Valley Fair.  The Middle Level attends the

annual Synod Middle Level Youth Gathering at Cragun’s Resort in November.

The High School attends the ELCA National Youth Gathering every three years.  The next one will be in New Orleans in July, 2009.
