Our Church Today

The music program at Crosslake Lutheran consists of an Adult Choir which averages 40-50 people and practices on Wednesday nights in the sanctuary. Our Contemporary Choir leads the congregation once a month and practices after the service a couple of Sundays before they perform. The Bell Choir practices every Thursday morning at 8:00 am in the church sanctuary. During the school year our Children's Choir performs periodically at the services and practices on Wednesday evenings. We always welcome new members to any of these special music groups!
An Adult Bible Study is held on Monday evenings at 6:00 pm and Wednesday mornings at 10:00 am. We currently have four circles which meet once a month. Please call the church office for more information.
The Parish Nurses are available for consultation on Thursday mornings from 8-9 am.
The Men's Group meets twice a month with one meeting being a work day at Camp Knutson.
The Jul Kaffe Fest Craft Workshop meets 9-1 pm every Monday in the parish hall. They work on craft projects for the annual Jul Kaffe Fest held in October to raise monies for various programs.
In
1965 the congregation began offering an outdoor drive-in worship opportunity for the many
summer vacationers in the area. Originally these services were held in the local
drive-in movie theatre (which no longer exists). In 1972, the congregation purchased
property for the outdoor worship center.
The outdoor services are held Mid-May through Mid-September and include a variety of "theme" Sundays. In the past these have included a Bikers Sunday, Blessing of the Animals Sunday and a Classic Car Sunday. Each year we try to offer something unique to appeal to a variety of interests. Worship from your car! Pets are welcome! Come join us!
